Music Teacher – Wachusett Regional High School

Job Description

The Wachusett Regional School District seeks to hire a dynamic music educator for the Wachusett Regional High School Music Department. The position will include conducting a women’s choir , a mixed choir, and teaching music electives including AP Music Theory, and Beginning Piano.

A qualified applicant will hold a Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education certification in Music/Vocal. The applicant should be highly proficient in vocal/choral performance and pedagogy with strong piano skills. They should also have positive classroom management techniques and be responsive to a student population with diverse learning styles. Strong communication skills will be expected in order to work well with colleagues , administrators, parents, and the general public.

Programs and video examples of recent performances / classroom teaching may be requested.

Job Requirements

      • At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
      • Bachelor degree preferred
