Sean P. Landers is currently in his seventh year as the Director of Music at Crawford Memorial United Methodist Church in Winchester, MA, where he directs a thriving music ministry of five choruses. Landers also works as the Director of Choruses at Belmont High School, where he teaches Men’s Chorus, Women’s Chorus, Chorale, Chamber Singers, Madrigal Singers, Jazz Choir, A Cappella groups and AP Music Theory. Previous to his position in Belmont, Sean worked for four years as the Chorus and Orchestra Director for Barnstable High School in Hyannis, Massachusetts. L He has previously served as conductor of the Cape Cod and Islands Music Festival Treble Chorus, MMEA Eastern District Junior Treble Chorus, and the MMEA Western District Junior Men’s Chorus.
Landers has managed All-State Chorus and Southeastern District Chorus and is the current manager for the MAJE (Massachusetts Association for Jazz Education) Jazz Choir and Combo Festival. Landers has also served as At-Large Member of the MASSACDA Executive Board, having previously been the Repertoire & Standards Chair for Jazz Choirs. He has presented at state and divisional conferences for MENC and ACDA. He graduated magna cum laude from Boston University with degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education where he was the recipient of the Ellalou Dimmock Scholarship Award for vocal excellence. Most recently, he completed his Master’s Degree in Music Education at Boston University with a Vocal Performance concentration.
