Bio

Andrew Scoglio directs the choral music program at Marblehead High School consisting of two choirs and four contemporary a cappella groups. His choirs and a cappella groups have earned awards at the MICCA, ICHSA and NE Voices festivals. He also teaches AP Music Theory, Piano Lab and Musical Theatre. Mr. Scoglio holds a Master’s degree in Music Education from Gordon College and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. As the Lead Teacher for the Performing & Applied Arts at Marblehead High School, Mr. Scoglio coordinates the Music and Drama programs.

An active choral singer, Mr. Scoglio has performed with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus and Boston Symphony Orchestra at Symphony Hall, Tanglewood, Fenway Park, and Carnegie Hall. Mr. Scoglio is also a choral singer and frequent soloist in Lyricora, a Chamber Choir on the North Shore.
