“Our children’s choirs deserve to sing literature of high quality that is, at the same time, appropriate, appealing and accessible to them as newcomers to the choral experience. Selecting such repertoire can be daunting, especially for public school music teachers, whose choruses are generally inclusive of all students and have limited rehearsal time. We recommend the following octavos as ones which can both inspire our young singers and meet their needs.”
