SUMMARY:2022 MassACDA Summer Conference
DESCRIPTION:The MassACDA Summer Conference will be held at Assumption University (Worcester\, MA) from Sunday\, July 10 to Wednesday\, July 13\, 2022.  Our featured clinicians this year will be Dr. Andre Thomas and Dr. Judy Bowers who are both Professors Emeriti at The Florida State University.  The in-person conference will open with a community sing through Dr. Thomas’s new Mass: A Celebration of Love and Joy\, and will feature sessions and concerts on various topics including conducting\, repertoire\, developmental choirs\, and the adolescent voice. Along with traditional in-person attendance\, for the first time we are offering one-day\, in-person attendance as well as a virtual attendance option. MassACDA will provide participants with the opportunity to receive PDP hours for the conference or graduate credit available through Westfield State University. \nRegistration Information \nEarly Bird $250 After June 15\, 2022\, $290 Members\nEarly Bird $290 After June 15\, 2022\, $340 Non-Members\nEarly Bird $75 After June 15\, 2022\, $100 Student Member\nEarly Bird $75 After June 15\, 2022\, $100 One Day or Virtual \nOvernight accommodations available onsite for $60 a night\, or $180 for the entire conference \n1 Graduate Credit\, $150\n2 Graduate Credits\, $250\nUp to 25 hours of PDPs will be offered at no additional charge \nRegistration includes access to all sessions; Sunday night dinner\, lunch on Monday\, Tuesday\, and Wednesday\, and snacks; and all sheet music for those singing in the conference chorus.
