SUMMARY:2023 MassACDA Summer Conference
DESCRIPTION:The MassACDA Summer Conference will be held at Assumption University (Worcester\, MA) from Sunday\, July 9 to Wednesday\, July 12\, 2023. This year\, our distinguished clinicians will be Dr. Jeffrey Douma\, the Marshall Bartholomew Professor in the Practice of Choral Music at Yale University\, in New Haven\, CT\, and Dr. Lesley Maxwell Mann\, Associate Professor of Music a Belmont University\, in Nashville\, TN. Along with traditional in-person attendance\, we are once again offering one-day\, in-person attendance as well as a virtual attendance option. MassACDA will provide participants with the opportunity to receive PDP hours for the conference or graduate credit available through Westfield State University. \nClick here to register! \nClick here for the complete conference schedule. \nRegistration Information \nACDA Members: Early Bird $295 ($350 after June 15\, 2023)\nNon-Members: Early Bird $315 ($370 after June 15\, 2023)\nFull-Time Student Members: Early Bird $125 ($150 after June 15\, 2023)\nOne Day Attendance: Early Bird $125 ($150 after June 15\, 2023)\nVirtual Attendance: Early Bird $150 ($200 after June 15\, 2023) \nOvernight accommodations available on campus in dormitories\, and at Hampton Inn\, which is five minutes away from campus. The dormitory accomodations will be an air conditioned suite with private rooms with XL twin beds. The Hampton Inn rooms will have two queen beds. The cost for a shared campus suite or hotel room is $80 per night\, or $240 for all three nights. The cost for a private suite or hotel room is $160 per night\, or $480 for all three nights. \nGraduate credit is available through Westfield State University: \n1 Graduate Credit\, $150\n2 Graduate Credits\, $250\nUp to 25 hours of PDPs will be offered at no additional charge \nRegistration includes access to all sessions; Sunday night dinner\, lunch on Monday\, Tuesday\, and Wednesday\, and snacks; and all sheet music for those singing in the conference chorus. Those staying overnight will have breakfast provided. Everyone will be responsible for dinner on Monday and Tuesday on their own. \nClick here to register!
