Brad is a passionate arts advocate working to create and support artistic projects that contribute to cultural improvement and community-based arts education. As a conductor, he believes in the power of choral singing to build empathetic communities — providing space for those who may otherwise not be heard. Brad is committed to a process-oriented approach of music-making which allows for artists to explore broad themes within the topics of equity and justice.
Brad serves as the Director of Choral Activities at Assumption University and as Artistic Director of the Salisbury Singers, both in Worcester, MA. Additionally, Brad works on the artistic planning team for the Boston-based choir VOICES 21C where he helps develop creative staging and narrative driven programs. He is also the Special Projects Manager for Emmanuel Music in Boston where he produces staged events and newly commissioned works. In Spring 2021, Brad and Nicky Manlove co-produced ‘Engender’ for The Choral Commons, a podcast focusing on gender diversity in choral music.
