New England Conservatory – Expanded Education (Boston, MA) seeks a Director of Choirs
This is a unique opportunity to lead NEC’s youth choral program, conducting the middle school-aged choir (Chamber Chorus), high school-aged choir (Youth Chorale), and a new Honors Children’s Choir which will perform throughout the year with the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
All three groups would rehearse weekly on Saturday afternoons, and the position would also include artistic planning and administrative work Tuesday through Friday.
We’re looking for an exceptional choral educator and leader who is energized by program-building, collaboration, and shaping a vibrant choral pathway for young singers across Greater Boston.
Salary range: $80,000–$95,000

United First Parish Church in Quincy, MA seeks a creative and collaborative part-time Director of Music (12 hours/week from September to June) to begin in September. The Director of Music directs our choir, provides music during most Sunday services on piano and / or organ (off one Sunday a month), and collaborates with the Music Ministry Team to engage congregants in the musical life of the congregation.
